Controversial Nigerian musician, Portable has questioned Nollywood actress Angela Okorie regarding her rent issue.
It was reported last year that Angela was supposedly evicted from her apartment for not paying her rent, a statement she refuted.
In the comments section of one of her Instagram posts, Portable inquired if she wasn’t the same person people claimed couldn’t afford rent.
” No be you them say you no fit pay house rent?”.
Responding to him, Angela said such people were only whining her. She stated that she is assured God can’t shame her and their plans would befall them.
“In Portable’s voice dem dey whine me ni. God no go shame us bro, ever evil plan na their head e go land last last”.
Recall that last year, popular Instagram blogger Cutie Jullss alleged that the actress was removed from her rented property due to unpaid rent.
The blogger asserted that Angela had been in arrears for up to two years and had been dodging her landlord because of her inability to settle her rent.
In response, Angela dismissed the allegation, stating that no landlord in Lagos would permit someone to live in their property for two years without payment.
She claimed she wasn’t present when her belongings were thrown out and attributed it to the industry and unfriendly acquaintances, who she indicated were attempting to undermine her reputation through the blogger.
In another post, she mentioned that as of 2023, her artist fee was $20,000 and questioned how she could be leading a deceptive lifestyle.
