Jovit Baldivino Biography
Jovit Baldivino (born on October 16, 1993, and died on December 9, 2022) was a Filipino singer and actor. He was the very first contestant to win the Pilipinas Got Talent reality talent competition in 2010.
Early life and career
In the province of Batangas, Jovit Baldivino was born into a low-income household. He would go to the market after school and sell siomai to make money for his education and to help support his family. He competed in the debut season of Pilipinas Got Talent in order to finish his schooling and assist his family in escaping poverty. He expressed his confidence that winning the top prize of 2 million pesos would enable him to realize his dream.
At Batangas State University, Baldivino obtained his criminology degree. He wanted to be a lawyer like his uncle, therefore that was his goal.

Two of Jovit Baldivino’s most well-known songs, “Pusong Bato” and “Ika’y Mahal Pa Rin,” resurfaced and took over social media in October of the year 2020. Then, they were included into Korean pop songs like “Psycho” and “What Is Love? By Red Velvet, TWICE, Blackpink, and BTS, respectively, “Ice Cream,” “Dynamite,” and Another remixed version of “Ika’y Mahal Pa Rin” by Baldivino using Justin Bieber’s “Baby” was released to contribute to the online buzz. The verses and choruses of both songs perfectly suited each other, and the remixes were extremely funny because of how the two songs were merged. Filipino internet users consequently developed an obsession with the remixes.
Personal life
His two daughters, Zody and Akeaya, who he raised as his own, were born out of past relationships with Laurice Khaye Bermillo and Shara Chavez, respectively. Camille Ann Miguel was his wife.
Death
Baldivino suffered a minor hemorrhagic stroke on December 4, 2022, which ultimately needed surgery. He then developed a brain aneurysm, and on December 9 in the Jesus of Nazareth Hospital in Batangas City, Philippines, he passed away.
