Nollywood star Mercy Johnson has expressed great admiration for her junior colleague and mentee, Regina Daniels.
Biotales reported earlier today that Mercy Johnson, who hinted at revealing some personal insights on Tuesday night, shared with her followers on Instagram that she has landed a partnership with an online refrigerator company.
While celebrating this achievement, Mercy expressed her pride in her latest milestone.
Regina took to the comments section to congratulate her on this new venture.
“Nnem! Congratulations, mummy”.
Replying to her, Mercy declared Regina her pride and own blood.
“My pride. My very own blood”.
Just yesterday, Regina touched hearts when she defended Mercy against Angela Okorie. In her response to her senior colleague, Daniels remarked that Angela was unreasonable, making it clear that she and Johnson are not quick to forgive.
Mercy Johnson and Regina Daniels have maintained a close-knit friendship for a long time. Their bond has evolved beyond their on-screen roles, as both actresses have fostered a strong relationship outside of film projects.
It’s worth noting that Mercy and Regina had a brief fallout due to Regina’s marriage. Reports suggest that Mercy advised her to focus on her career a bit longer before starting a family since she was still very young.
This advice reportedly upset the actress from Delta, leading her to distance herself from Mercy.
Nevertheless, the two reconciled in 2022, and since then, they have consistently shown affection and support for each other.
