Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has responded to the heartfelt birthday message she got from her former close friend, Bobrisky.
Reports indicate that Bobrisky posted pictures of the actress on his Instagram account, reflecting on their five years of friendship and expressing that it was God’s plan for him to celebrate her 40th birthday with her.
He congratulated her on reaching this milestone and showered her with prayers.
In the comments, Tonto expressed her gratitude for his affection.
She replied, “Aww, thank you, Bobbi. Amen, Amen, Amen.”
Bobrisky and Tonto Dikeh used to be very close, with their friendship spanning nearly five years. However, their relationship deteriorated in 2020 after several social media disputes.
In 2022, Bobrisky accused Tonto of leading a phony lifestyle and owing him N5 million. He stated that he had ended his friendship with the actress because she had become a burden, asserting that he was the one covering most of her expenses. He also claimed that Tonto had encouraged him to harass her competitors.
In April 2023, Bobrisky acknowledged in an interview that he missed Tonto, referring to her as his sister and attributing their breakup to their mutual fiery personalities.
Last year, Tonto reached out to him with kindness during his time in EFCC custody. Kemi Filani observed that both former friends were following each other again on Instagram.
